If I wasn't aware that the one I got wrong was one of the extremely easy ones I wouldn't have even mentioned it. The questions are ordered in ascending difficulty. I got every single one of the difficult ones right. I got one of the first five questions wrong due to rushing myself rather than double checking my answer like I normally do. I figured someone might misconstrue my post this way but I promise you that isn't the case. Think it's safe to say my PSI is in line with and likely even exceeds the rest of my indices. Hit the ceiling on the equal figures test with 60/60 which is fairly similar to symbol search. Below are all T scores converted to 15 SD IQ. These tests all have very short time limits. Did much worse on the two tests involving pictures. Got 133 overall with 17/17 ss on matrix reasoning, 18/19 ss coding (carbon copy of WAIS coding), 16/19 ss on symbol search (different enough to be resistant to PE imo). I did the BETA III which depends heavily on processing speed. Oh, and if anyone is curious, I tend to score between 129 and 139 on all of the online tests that are in the wiki for this subreddit, but I clearly have a strength in matrices.ĮDIT: I've since done numerous processing speed tests that were recommended by hipoethical. Do you think there'd be enough difference between the WAIS-IV and V to get valid results? I'd also like to know what my FSIQ would have been with 128 PSI and 9 forward digit span. My plan at this point is to just wait for the WAIS-V to come out and take the test again at a more reputable clinic. The best I could do was subtract 9 from 137 and give myself a 128 PSI instead based on the only study I could find about WAIS-IV practice effect, but really there is no way to know for sure what my valid PSI is. I know PSI has been shown to be the most susceptible to practice effect, so this score is surely inflated a good bit. That's a 9 ss increase on symbol search and 4 ss increase on coding. I got 18 ss on symbol search and 15 ss on coding. I was mainly concerned with the processing speed score, so I got my hands on those subtests from someone with the WAIS and printed them out so I could do them with pen and paper. The PRI is probably pretty accurate although I did miss one of the easy questions on matrix reasoning due to carelessness and should have 26/26 rather than 25/26. I got 135 on Stratosphere and 129 on the verbal portion of the 1980s SAT from this subreddit. The proctor never prompted me for more on the vocabulary subtest and I've read that they are supposed to if you are close to getting the full two point answer. I think the verbal is slightly underestimated. I'm always able to get 9 forward on auditory digit span when tested at home, but the dogs were barking on the sequence of 7 and broke my concentration and the proctor didn't allow me to try again when it was quiet. Also, considering I have sensory processing disorder and sound is my biggest stressor, this likely had a deflating effect on other scores as well, although I don't think it was by much as they are somewhat close to results I get on other tests. The music and dogs seemed to have the most effect on my working memory and processing speed. Loud music was playing in the room next door, and the psychologist's dogs were randomly barking throughout the test. This makes me call into question their ability to score other subtests properly as well. I was docked points on the coding subtest for touching the lines with symbols even though that isn't something that is mentioned in the WAIS manual. I've talked about it in the past, but I'll briefly go over why I feel it was poorly administered. It turns out I misremembered some of the numbers, but my feelings about the test remain the same. Well, I finally got them half a year later so I figured I'd make a final follow up post with the results. The guy who complained about his WAIS-IV test in the past but didn't have the results yet.
